Marlee was very excited about her Christmas party at school today and I was excited to help at the paryty! Each child was asked to bring in a mug for a mug exchange! All the mugs were wrapped and we played the Frosty the Snowman left-to-right passing game with the mugs and at the end the mug the kids ended up with, was the one they received! Marlee was super excited to open up an Elf on the Shelf mug! After the game, the kids all enjoyed yummy crock pot hot cocoa in their new mugs as well as Christmas cookies! Lastly, Diya's Mom came in and talked to the class about Diwali and gave each of the kids a gift to go along with it. A fun day in first grade!
