Daddy killed a turkey!

Daddy went hunting this morning and killed a big turkey!  The turkey had an 11.5 inch beard.  We are so proud of Daddy!!!

Happy 4th Birthday, Grace Lynn!

We had fun celebrating Grace Lynn's birthday with her today!  She had a perfectly pinktastic birthday and all the kids had fun running around and playing on the swing set!  

Karsyn can hold Cuddles all by herself now!

And she is so happy to be able to do it!

They celebrated Grace Lynn's birthday at school today and Marlee really enjoyed the cupcakes!

Marlee and Allie having fun together.  Allie is very shy and never talks but her and Marlee have connected and she now will talk to Marlee but that's about it.  English is her second language and I am so proud of Marlee for reaching out to her and making this sweet connection.  Her mom was so thankful to me the other day for Marlee's friendship to Allie and it really made my heart smile!  :)

An evening swim at Pappy's pool

The kids went for a chilly evening swimming at Pappy's pool.  They had fun splashing around and loved the gummy worms Pappy gave them before we left! :)

Riding Lesson

Marlee was so excited it was Thursday today because it meant time for her riding lesson!  Ms. Karen was so happy with how much Marlee remembered from the previous week and she did great!  I am so proud of Marlee's hard work and enthusiasm when it comes to her passion...HORSES!!!

Karsyn went with us to the lesson today and loved playing with the cat, dogs, and petting Sully!

15 month checkup with Dr. D

Karsyn had her 15 month checkup with Dr. D today!  She weighed 19.4 pounds!  She had to get 2 shots which was no fun but Dr. D loved seeing our seeing sweet girl and said she was perfect!

Karsyn did not want to sleep in her crib tonight, so while I was getting Marlee tucked in bed, she hung out with Daddy.  This is what I found after I got Marlee to sleep!  A sweet sleeping baby on Daddy! :)

Papa and GiGi's Pride and Joys!

Papa has been wanting an updated picture of Marlee, Karsyn, and Easton for his computer screen saver so this afternoon when we were all out at the pasture I tried taking some!  These pictures are cute, funny, and just so them!  It is really hard to get a perfect picture of three little ones let me tell you! :)

Papa's New Saddle for Pete

Papa got a new saddle for Pete and this afternoon he took the girls for rides to try it out!  Both girls approved and had so much fun watching the sunset and riding Pete all over the pasture! 

Coloring Easter Eggs with GiGi, Papa, Easton, and Grandma Peggy

This afternoon the girls colored Easter eggs with Papa, GiGi, Easton, and Grandma Peggy.  Coloring eggs is always something fun that my family loves to do!  Marlee and Easton were pros at coloring the eggs and Karsyn sat and watched them, taking it all in.  Then when it was her turn to color her eggs, she was a pro too at picking up her egg and dropping it in the dye!  She was so proud of herself and would grin so big after she did it.  The eggs all turned out so pretty and we all had lots of fun!
