Ringing in the New Year...New Years Eve!!!

The Stephens Family invited our family, along with The Revell Family to their house New Years Eve to have a yummy dinner and ring in the New Year together!  We were very excited to celebrate this special time with some of our favorite folks!  Bear and I blew up some balloons with different activities in each balloon for us to do and I wrote a specific time on each balloon all ending with a 4 since it was the end of 2014!  At that specific time, each kid got to pop that balloon and we did the activity it had in it.  Have a dance party, group hug, name your favorite memory of 2014, etc...  were some of the activities in the balloons.  They were a lot of fun and the kids were funny popping the balloons!  Dinner was delicious and we had s'mores for dessert.  Aunt Bonny brought sparklers for the kids and they had fun with those outside.  We all made it till 11:30 at David and Heidi's and then came home.  Daddy, Marlee, Karsyn, and I were still awake when the clock struck 12:00 a.m. and we watched the ball drop and gave each other kisses!  Cheers to 2015...we are looking forward to starting the New Year!

Visiting Daddy's Squash Field

Today, Mammy and I took the girls out to visit Daddy's squash field and packing house.  Marlee loved helping put the stickers on the squash and packing them and Karsyn thought it was fun to walk around and climb on all the boxes!  If you are in need of any acorn, spaghetti, or butternut squash head on out to Publix and pick up some, grown fresh and local right here in Sebring!!! :)

Gingerbread Barn

This year instead of making a Gingerbread House we found a Gingerbread Barn kit complete with a horse and we were so excited to make it.  Well, time slipped away from us and we did not get it made before Christmas but we did get a chance to make it this evening...5 days after Christmas but oh well, still lots of fun family time!!!  Marlee was very proud of how it turned out!

waiting patiently on Daddy to get the icing on :)

Happy 80th Birthday, Grandma!

Happy 80th Birthday, Grandma Peggy!  We celebrated her big day down at the river house with GiGi, Papa, Vikki, Kenny, Lindsey, and Mckensey!  We played, caught minnows in the river, went on a boat ride, ate a yummy dinner and had birthday cake, opened presents and then Marlee and Mckensey had fun with Grandma's bed sheet and some crayons when no one was watching.  They were just trying to make her a birthday picture so when she slept she would have a pretty picture to sleep on!!! :)  We had to have the talk about remembering that crayons are only to use on paper.  A cute memory and luckily the sheet can be washed!   Happy Birthday, Grandma!  We love you!
