This evening we celebrated Grandma Peggy's birthday! Her and Grandpa were both sick with a cold, so we just had cake and presents to celebrate! She loved the shirt that Marlee picked out for her at Belks and had fun trying on Grandma's new Nike's that GiGi and Papa gave her. When it was cake time, Marlee could not wait to eat the buttercream icing...literally she could not wait, she was sticking her hands in it as I was trying to light the candles! She has a love for Publix cakes just like her Mama! Happy Birthday, Grandma! We love you!

Brooker Family Christmas
After pictures this afternoon, we went to Mammy and Pappy's house to have Christmas with them since they celebrated in Kentucky this year with Bo, Leslie, and the girls! Mammy cooked a delicious dinner for us and Brooker, Marlee, and Mary Kate all had fun playing together and opening presents. We missed Bo, Leslie, and the girls this year so much but are thankful that Mammy and Pappy got to be with them on Christmas day and meet baby Harper! Marlee got a cute horse toy from Mammy and Pappy that she likes to play with, as well as a book and some money, a pizza set and Dora dress-up clothes. Bear loved the money he received this year as well as his new shirts that Bonny and Jared gave him with his company logo on them. I received a new Garmin watch for running, a label maker, running socks, and Biltmore Inspirations goodies for my house. We all had a great Christmas and love our time together with the ones we love so much! P.S., Mammy and Pappy, I think Marlee just really wants the Calvin dog and if you ever find it missing you know who might have taken him! :)
Brooker liked the Florida Gator football player piggy bank Marlee got him a long with some money to put in it as well!
Mammy liked her Jewel Kade Blessed Mammy necklace we got her!
Mosier Family Pictures
This afternoon, Aunt Mollie had arranged for Laura Carter to come and take The Mosier Family pictures for us. We all had to wear either red, white or green. We had planned to take them out in the yard but it started raining just as we were going to take the pictures so we moved them under the carport, in front of Mr. Stephens old jeep. They turned out really good, especially with such a large group, and I really like the old jeep in the background. These are just some previews we have gotten...I can't wait to see them all!

Christmas Night
Christmas night, we joined my family out at the pasture for a fire and fried shrimp! Big Granny wanted to treat us all, so she brought shrimp and Papa and Bear fried them up along with some fried green tomatoes and french fries. Marshmallows were roasted too and it was a nice laid back evening to end a wonderful Christmas day!
Our stockings
After a fun filled Christmas morning, we all came home and rested. After Marlee's nap, I realized that we forgot to look in our stockings and see what treasures were inside! Marlee loved pulling out all of the neat things she had received...Dora Band-Aids Dora and Diego toothbrushes, bath markers, chocolate scented bubbles, etc...
Mosier Family Christmas
After opening presents at home, we drove to Sebring and had Christmas with the Mosier side of the family. We had a small crowd this year missing Mammy, Pappy, Bailey, Hiedi, Win, Rebekah, and the boys and Leslie, Bo, and the girls. Aunt Mollie did a fantastic job decorating her house so "Christmasy" :) and prepared delicious food for us. The "M" girls had fun playing on the front porch in their Christmas dresses and were all very excited to receive a baby doll from Nene and a Patience Brewster ornament from Aunt Mollie. The big girls did our gift exchange and I received Bonny's gift, an adorable green MudPie scarf! I love it! Bear got a drill in the gift exchange and was excited about that too! Thank You Aunt Mollie for hosting Christmas this year, it was perfect!
Look what Santa brought!
Marlee was a very good girl this year and Santa saw that! He stopped by our house last night and left Marlee a dollhouse! When Marlee came downstairs and saw her present from Santa, she was VERY excited! Santa did very good! ;) She instantly starting playing with her dollhouse and did not want to stop playing, not even to open her other presents! The dollhouse is so cool and even comes complete with eight different rooms, thirty-three pieces of furniture, hardwood floors, and a working elevator! After playing with her new toy for a long time, she decided that she would open some of her other presents. Mama and Daddy got her a new wheelie car toy, new bath toys, stickers, adorable boots with bows to work outside in, Dora toys, etc... Marlee was very excited and interested in each new toy and therefore did not finish opening up all of her toys until two days after Christmas. I didn't push her to open them all, I would just let her open them when she wanted to! Daddy had a fun morning of assembling toys and liked his new grill toy that Marlee got him. Marlee and Bear surprised me with a "Girls Night Out" with my friends complete with a limo! :) We had a great Christmas morning being home and watching our little girls eyes light up with the excitement of Christmas! We are so thankful for Jesus and celebrate him on this day!

Bye Bye Ellie the Elf
This morning when Marlee woke up she found Ellie hanging out by the orange tree holding an orange she had picked. Tonight, though she found her snuggled up on the fireplace with her pillow and blanket. We decided that she was taking a nap waiting on Santa to arrive so that she can fly back to the North Pole with him. We had so much fun with Ellie these past couple of weeks and Marlee loved looking for her every morning. She would always say, "Ellie you are a silly girl" and "Ellie, you flyed away"! We are sad to see her go, but thankful for all she has done this Christmas season to always remind Marlee Grace to be "nice" and a good girl! See you next year, Ellie! We love you!
We have read our 25 books till' Christmas
Tonight before bed we finished our monthly activity of opening up and reading a Christmas story each night. This was a fun activity and one that Marlee looked forward to each night! She enjoyed opening up a book wrapped as a present of course, and then reading a new story. I think her favorite one was The Gingerbread Man story! We look forward to doing this activity again next year!
Here are your cookies and milk, Santa
Marlee was so sweet carrying Santa's cookies to the fireplace tonight. She made sure the milk and cookies were in the right spot for Santa to see when he came down the chimney! She thought that the strawberry milk looked pretty good and took a few sips of it before leaving it for Santa! ;)
