We met Aunt Leslie and the girls today at the lake to swim. Before we went swimming we visited Nene and Pepa. They were so excited to see all the sweet girls! Marlee loved helping Aunt Leslie take care of baby Harper today too!

Easton's School Birthday Party
With Easton's birthday being in summer when school is out, his Daddy decided to do his party at school before school ended for the summer. Easton wanted a Hot Wheels party and that is what he had! He was so excited about his adorable birthday shirt Aunt Bonny made for him, cool cupcakes, fun goodie bags, and pinata. He got to be the special helper in class that day and was very good about passing out the cupcakes, food, and goodie bags to each of his friends. Marlee loved being at school with Easton and blended right in with the other kids. She sat just like they did in the chairs and on the carpet and had fun taking a swing at the pinata too! We all had a great time at Easton's Hot Wheels party and love him very much!

We definitely all had fun in the sun this weekend!!!

Day 9- Sonoma, San Francisco, CA and FLORIDA!
We woke up this morning and had breakfast at our resort. They made the cutest blueberry scones with fresh blueberry jelly and they were delicious. Marlee threw some pennies in the fountain and made wishes and we packed the car and started making our way to San Francisco Airport!
Marlee loved riding the tram in to the airport and was such a good girl helping us check all of our suitcases.
Once we arrived, we found out that on the airplane we were all split up as far as where we would sit. When I asked them about this, their response, sorry, we can't do anything about it. This did not make for a happy mama knowing that my precious two year old was going to sit by random people by herself on a five hour plane ride. Since the airline would not do anything about this situation, GiGi and I had to take matters in our own hands and con people on the plane to switch seats with us so that we could sit together since they would not just let Marlee sit in my lap either. Luckily some very nice people who GiGi bought a few drinks for gladly switched and all was well! We had a very long flight home but good and stopped in Atlanta before making our flight home to Orlando. We got in about 2:30 AM and were exhausted but it was so worth it. Our 4th Girls Getaway Trip was fabulous and we will all treasure the memories we made together!
P.S. When we got home Marlee was a VERY HAPPY GIRL to see her DADDY and DADDY was an EXTREMELY HAPPY DADDY to see his GIRLS! :)

Day 8- Napa Valley and Sonoma, CA
We woke up this morning and packed our bags to leave Napa and head to Sonoma, CA. We enjoyed our stay in Napa and were looking forward to exploring Sonoma. We had breakfast at Napa Valley Biscuits which was delicious and it was so special because they even had an item on the menu named The Pappy! Marlee loved saying that because she loves her Pappy! She enjoyed a yummy biscuit with fresh strawberry jam on it and lots of butter of course!
We made our way to Sonoma and stopped at a few winieries on the way. Marlee was excited to see geese walking along one of the vineyards. One winery, in particular was Matanzas Creek Winery which was famous for all their lavender as well as wine. The lavender was just beginning to bloom so you couldn't see much purple but some and Marlee loved running through the fields.
We had lunch in downtown Sonoma at Flavor. It was an Italian restaurant and sadly not a very tasty one but it was okay!
After stopping at a couple of more wineries which Marlee enjoyed because they all had beautiful flowers which she loves looking at and smelling, we made our way to our resort for our last night in CA. We stayed at the Vintners Inn which was breathtaking. The rooms all had back porches that led out into the vineyards and tons of flower gardens. Marlee had the best time running around at this resort.
Talking to Daddy on the phone :)
We had dinner this evening at Johnny Garlic's which is owned by the very own Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives). We were hoping he would be there because he lives in Sonoma and is at the restaurant a lot but when we arrived we found out that he had just left! We were sad we didn't get to meet him but the food was yummy and we all enjoyed our meals!
After dinner we went back to our resort and packed up our suitcases really good to head to the airport tomorrow. We have had a great time in CA!
