Happy 3rd Birthday, Heagan!

This evening we attended Heagan's adorable Mermaid birthday party.  Her mommy, Mrs. Samantha decorated everything for the party so perfectly!  The weather was not the best when it came party time but it did not stop these dear friends from having a great time and celebrating sweet Heagan!  They all played inside on a small trampoline and with the dog toys (or Marlee did at least) while it was raining.  We all enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to Heagan and her beautiful cake was delicious!!!  As soon as the weather cleared, all the kids jumped in the pool to swim.  Most of the daddy's got in the pool with the kids to swim, yay!  After swim time, we took a group picture and Mrs. Samantha gave the kids their very cool party favor...a mermaid that grows in water!  Marlee was very excited!  We all had a fun evening and feel so blessed to have the precious Price family in our lives!

The Island

We just returned home from a week at the Island and it was fabulous.  We all had fun playing down at the beach and going on fishing and boating adventures!  Mammy went to the Island with us for a few days and that was fun to spend time with her.  Marlee is a true Island girl and had a blast.  She wanted to be outside in the water all the time!  She called the house at the Island, "The Treehouse"!  :)  We made many summer memories together as a family and look forward to more beach time this summer!

After we got home from Gaylord Palms, I took Marlee out to visit with Big Granny.  She was not home but we found her right down the road in her garden.  Marlee was so excited to be at the garden and had the best time helping Big Granny pick sunflowers, green beans, peas, etc...  I love to see Marlee making these memories with her great-grandma! :)

Yesterday, we decided at the last minute to head up to Orlando with The Laye Family and enjoy a fun time with friends at the Gaylord Palms.  Marlee, Emerson, and Cullen all had a blast swimming at the pools and splashing in the fountains.  They have some giant slides there and Marlee wanted to ride them really bad, sadly she was two inches too short to ride and she didn't like it.  She kept saying, "Mommy, I'm too short to ride that really big slide but I really want to"!  Poor thing doesn't have the height factor in her favor due to her mom being so short but I'm sure by the next time we go she will be tall enough!  After hours at the pool, we all walked around the hotel looking at the fish, alligators, snakes, etc... and then had dinner at Wreckers Sports Bar.  We sat on the patio and let the kids play in the grass area while we waited for our food.  They all had a ball rolling around and running on the grass.  After dinner, we were all worn out and were ready for bed.  The next morning, we grabbed breakfast and went back to the pool for more fun in the sun.  When it was check-out time, the girls all decided to go shopping at Home Goods while the boys went to Bass Pro.  :)   After a fun afternoon of shopping we were all ready for naps and home.  We definitely all had a fun getaway together! :)

 

 

Happy Birthday, Uncle Jared!

Uncle Jared was out of town on his actual birthday so tonight we all gathered to celebrate his birthday.  We had a delicious dinner, followed by cake and candles, and presents!  The kids all had fun playing together and there was never a dull moment with 6 kids!  Happy Birthday, Uncle Jared!

This morning we joined Aunt Leslie and the girls, Aunt Bonny, Brooker, Mary Kate, Samantha, Huntley, Heagan, and Hatton, and Emily, Lucy, and Edy for a fun time at the pool.  All the kids had fun swimming together and our potluck lunch turned out delicious!  A fun day in the sun with friends...nothing better. :)

Easton's 4th Birthday

This afternoon we celebrated Easton's 4th Birthday with him at the lake.  He had a Batman/Spirderman party and loved all his presents and cool cake!  It was a beautiful afternoon to spend in the lake and the kids had a blast swimming, splashing, and being adventurous in the sand.  We love you Easton, Happy 4th Birthday!

 One of his favorite presents...a gift certificate to Frostbite so he can go and get all the sweet tea his little heart desires!  He says they have the BEST sweet tea ever! :)
