Weekend Getaway to Boca Grande

This weekend we had the most relaxing weekend in Boca Grande!  We enjoyed the beach, rented a golf cart and rode around the island, ate lots of ice cream, fished, explored, and jumped in the pool a lot!  Such a fun time had by all!

Marlee's marigold garden that she has grown...lots of the marigolds she grew from seeds and the others she got from the clearance rack at Walmart and they were half dead and she brought them home, trimmed off the dead parts and planted them again.  It is a beautiful garden!  We are so proud of her hardwork!

Marlee has talked about this horse chair at Don Jose' ever since we were there last time and she spotted it acorss the room.  When we went today to eat there, she was determined to sit in this chair.  The owners were so sweet and helped her find it in the restaurant and brought it to the table for her to sit in.  She was beyond excited!

The girls love their shirts Aunt Helen brought them from Kansas City!

We loved having Aunt Helen in Florida for a few days!  She is so special to us!

I guess Karsyn thought we were going to cross some water today while we were out on our errands!  LOL :)

Marlee got to go on a special date with Aunt Bonny, Mary Kate, and Mammy today to the Circle Theater to watch the movie Miracles from Heaven!

Karsyn got to go on a special date today with Mommy, Kristy, and Kadi to do a little shopping.

Karsyn was so proud of the clothes she picked out to buy at Target yesterday! 

Kadi painted Karsyn's fingernails and toenails and Karsyn loved every minute of it!

We were at the pool and Mr Jerry surprised the girls with yummy ice cream cones!  They were so excited!

These two have such a special bond.

Getting Pete all ready for his ride...cleaning out his hooves...not a fun job but Marlee is always happy to do it!
