March Exercising

Marlee and I completed our March exercising...we ran everyday for a total of 96 miles this month!

All she wanted to do this evening was play with her baby ducks!  She loves them so! :)

Lunch and Egg Hunt at Mammy and Pappy's

After church today, Mammy and Pappy had us over for Easter lunch.  Mary Kate was very sick with the stomach bug so her and Aunt Bonny were unable to join us and we sure did miss them.  Uncle Jared, Brooker, Nene, Pepa, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Kenny, baby Brantley, Papa, and Cici all joined us for lunch.  Mammy did a wonderful job cooking lunch and it was enjoyed by all.  After lunch, Brooker and Marlee went on an egg hunt that Mammy had done for them.  Brooker was so sweet to let Marlee find the easier-hidden eggs and he found the hard-hidden eggs.  They both found lots of eggs and enjoyed the yummy treats hidden inside.  It just wasn't the same without Mary Kate though and we definitely hope she gets to feeling better very soon.

BABY DUCKS!!!

After Marlee got done getting her surprises at the front door from the Easter Bunny, we opened the back door to find that the Easter Bunny brought her four baby ducks!  Marlee has been begging for baby chicks or ducks for weeks now since we visited the feed store and has told everybody she has seen that she really, really wanted some baby chicks or ducks!  The Easter Bunny is such a good listener and brought her some!  Marlee was soooo excited and happy when she found her baby ducks waiting in a box.  They are so precious and she is so good at holding them.  She has named them Roxy and Cloey...they are all named that. The most precious sight is watching them follow her around!  They just walk behind her like she is their Mama.  I see lots of play time with her new fury friends!

The Easter Bunny came!!!!

Marlee woke up this morning to a note from the Easter Bunny telling her that there were surprises at both the front door and back door for her.  
At the front door, her Easter basket was waiting for her filled with goodies!  She was very excited to see all of her new surprises.  She got a new bathing suit, dress, sandals, candy, an art book, lots of stickers, bubble wand, Dora DVD, Charlotte's Web DVD, little rubber duckies, a new Dora toothbrush, a stamp pad, and dot-to-dot stampers!  She loved it all but said, "Mama, I didn't get a reading book in my Easter basket"!  I told her the Easter bunny felt like she had lots of reading books right now already but would make sure she got some in her basket next year!  :)

After looking all through her Easter basket we opened the front door to find lots of eggs hidden in the front year for Marlee to find!  She was so excited and had fun finding them all!

Planting Jellybeans!!??

Marlee received some special jellybeans on Saturday (the day before Easter) in the mail that told her that if she planted and watered them that they would grow into something very special Easter morning!!!  She picked out the perfect spot in the yard, dug a hole, put the jellybeans inside the hole, covered them up with the dirt, and watered them.  She thought they were going to grow into pretty flowers! On Easter morning,  we went outside to find that yummy lollipops had grown from her jellybeans!!!  She was so excited and had fun picking them.  :)
