Halloween 2012

Marlee had an eventful day celebrating her 2nd Halloween!  We started the morning off by trick-or-treating at Bagwell Lumber.  Stacy and Heather had lots of candy to give Easton and Marlee.  Marlee even shared some of her candy with Papa!  Next, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's trick-or-treating.  Grandma bought the kids cute little pumpkin bags with tons of goodies to go in them...Marlee even got a princess note pad and markers!  After Grandma's, we went out to Big Granny's.  Big Granny got the kids both some clothes this year since she knew they had tons of candy.  Next stop, Frostbite for a Halloween lunch where the kids got more candy and even spider rings!  After lunch, GiGi surprised the kids with tons of Halloween goodies...big bags of Hershey kisses, Fall cakes, Halloween Oreos, Reeses cups, etc...The dentists love her! :)  Marlee was on a sugar high when we got home and crashed mid-afternoon for her nap!
After Marlee work up, I got her dressed in her Halloween dress that Aunt Bonny made her and we hit the road to our church and attended the Fall Festival.  The festival was fabulous!  Marlee had so much fun and we stayed the entire time!  The games were precious and she could play almost all of them!  Mrs. Hill, even surprised Marlee when she got to the craft table to decorate her picture frame with Dora Halloween stickers!!!  We are so blessed to have such a wonderful church family who puts on such fun family events !

Mr. Hill was so sweet and helped Marlee play the Go Fish game!

Bunco

Tonight, the girls and I played Bunco at Cristy's house.  I am so happy that we have started Bunco back up again as I always enjoy the fun time with my friends.  Marlee stayed with GiGi while I played or should I say, Marlee and Dora stayed with GiGi and had a blast playing with her!

Makeup

While I was putting my makeup on this evening, Marlee decided that her baby doll, Cali, needed makeup too!

Precious!

This afternoon, Grandpa Byrd captured the most precious picture of Marlee.  Marlee and Ben were just playing in the yard and luckily Grandpa had his camera and saw the perfect opportunity as she was sitting in the grass enjoying the Fall weather. I  dearly love this picture of our sweet girl.  Thank you Grandpa Byrd for picture ...I treasure it!
In exactly 2 weeks she will turn 2 years old!

Jack-O-Lantern

This evening, Bear and Marlee continued their tradition of carving a pumpkin together.  We talked about what kind of face she wanted and gave her options and she choose circle eyes, a triangle nose and a scary face!  She did not want to help scoop the seeds out...she was basically more into putting the candle inside and lighting it and then trying to blow it out!  :)  I love their precious Dada-Daughter time! :)
Both girls watching Dada scoop out the pumpkin
Patiently waiting to put her Pumpkin Pie candle in the Jack-O-Lantern
Trying to blow the candle out!
She had to get a bow for the pumpkin and decorate her!  It was a girl pumpkin :)
Marlee's creation...she wanted her baby dolls to be a part of this exciting time :)

Trick or Treat

We continued our Trick or Treat tradition this year at Bonny and Jared's house with our friends.  We all enjoyed pizza and yummy treats together and a hayride to many houses for lots of good candy around the Sebring Country Club.  The weather was great and Marlee was so cute dressed up as a cowgirl!  We decided to let her dress up as something different for this special night and since she loves cows and horses, she made a perfect cowgirl!  Aunt Bonny made her a shirt, we got her skirt and hat from Nashville, and borrowed her adorable pink cowgirl boots.  She even sat still and let Aunt Bonny braid her hair in to pigtail braids!  She was so good at carrying her candy bag and saying "Trick or Treat" and Thank You!  I was so proud of her!  She got tired of wearing her hat pretty quickly and the boots not long after that, so by the end of the night, she went up to houses asking for candy with just her shirt, her skirt jacked up, mind you around her waist (good thing she had bloomers on), and her socks.  She didn't care though...she was happy and that was all that mattered.  We all had a fun evening being together and watching our kids all play and enjoy this fun time of the year.  Thanks Bonny and Jared for always showing us a fun time!

 I love my baby girl!
Marlee was excited that Courtney was giving away play dough and cupcakes...she some how snuck away with a couple of play doughs and enjoyed a cupcake as well!
Excited to get some more candy!
Dada was watching the Gator game with the guys at Aunt Bonny's house but as soon as it was over (and the Gators lost :( ) he joined us for trick or treating fun and even took Marlee through her first Haunted House...she was not scared a bit!
Fun times with Aunt Bonny!
After we got done trick or treating, we hung out at Bonny and Jared's house and let the kids all play and pass out candy to other kids.  Kolton came by to trick or treat and Marlee loved his costume and checked out his candy bucket to see what he had gotten yummy.
