Marlee decorated her Christmas Tree all by herself!!!

As I was busy decorating our family Christmas tree, Marlee was busy decorating her very own Christmas tree.  It was so heartwarming to see how much she pays attention to what I do and learns from that and then applies it.  She found ribbon and wrapped it around the tree like I did and carefully hung ornaments.  I was so proud of her and she is so proud of herself too!  She keeps saying, my tree is beautiful!!!

Picking out our perfect family Christmas Tree

Marlee was so excited to head to Severt's today and pick out our perfect family Christmas tree!  She had fun running through all the trees and of course wanted the biggest one there!  She did find one that better suited our house and was happy to get it loaded and home!  Let the tree trimming begin!

It's all plumbed, concrete has been poured, and the block work is underway!!!  We are very excited to watch this progress each day!!!

A Thankful Thanksgiving

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and spent the holiday with the ones we love so much! GiGi had to work on Thanksgiving so we celebrated at the pasture on Wednesday night.  Marlee was so happy to have Pete with us this year and he enjoyed hanging around the camp house as we celebrated.  It was a cold evening but a perfect evening indeed!  
On Thanksgiving (Thursday) morning, Marlee and I enjoyed watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and looking at the Black Friday ads while Daddy went dove hunting with Papa.  At lunchtime we gathered at Mammy and Pappy's and had a yummy lunch.  After lunch we rode down to where we are building the house and lots of Marlee's cousins were across the street at Heidi and David's house and they all came over and everyone had fun enjoying the simple things in life...playing in the dirt!!!  We arrived home at 5 and our sweet girl was definitely tuckered out...she fell asleep talking to Bear and I on the couch.  We all had full bellies and full hearts after these wonderful two days spent with family and friends.

Thanksgiving Projects

Marlee and I enjoyed a rainy morning this morning, staying in our pajamas and working on Thanksgiving projects!  

We researched Marlee's Native American (Indian) name online this morning and she took a little quiz and this is her name :)

Marlee loves Pete so much and loves her time spent with him and he is pretty fond of her too!!!

At the Dr with Mommy

With Marlee not having school this week, she was able to go to the Doctor with me and hear the baby's heartbeat.  She loves my doctor and enjoyed hearing the baby's heartbeat and her heartbeat as well.  We had a great appointment...3 more weeks to go until we meet baby!!!

We were grocery shopping at Publix and found Daddy's squash there that they are selling in their store!  We were so excited and had to take a picture!

Happy 4th Birthday, Emerson!

This afternoon we celebrated Emerson's 4th Birthday with her at the bowling alley.  Marlee loves to bowl and was so excited to party with her sweet friend, Emerson.  Summer did a great job on the party planning and had very cute details for the party.  All the kids had fun running around and bowling when it was their turn.  Marlee bowled on the lane with Tucker and they enjoyed cheering for each other.  A fun party indeed for a precious girl!

Marlee had a great week at preschool this week!  They worked on Thanksgiving projects all week in preparation for their exciting program on Friday!
