Marlee's 2nd Haircut

This morning I took Marlee to get her bangs trimmed for the second time!  Marlee has thick hair like me and it grows quickly.  She was so good letting Mrs. Patty cut her hair and sat in my lap eating Goldfish the entire time!  Her new bangs are so cute :)

Planting Flowers

This afternoon, Bear and Marlee decided to plant some new flowers in our yard!  Marlee loves, loves, loves to be outside so this was a perfect activity for her!  She had so much fun helping her Daddy dig holes and water the flowers!  She thinks the microjets are the coolest things ever!!!   Our new plants are so pretty in our yard and we can't wait to watch them grow!

Daddy's Home!

Daddy went on a trip with Pappy and arrived back home this afternoon!  He surprised Marlee with some treats when he got home!  She was so excited!  He brought her home a teddy bear and a sunflower lollipop!  She is a lucky girl to have such a thoughtful Daddy!

Uncle Mike's Birthday Lunch

Today, the family all gathered at the Sebring Country Club to celebrate Uncle Mike's 45th Birthday!  Mammy and Uncle Mike ran a half-marathon this morning while Marlee and I coached our Upward cheerleaders.    We are so proud of Mammy and Uncle Mike for completing such an amazing task!  Daddy was out of town so we missed him at the birthday lunch.  :(  Nene and Pepa served us all salad, chicken wings, and pizza for lunch and it was delicious.  The kids did not want to be inside eating but rather outside playing! Marlee loved the fountain and wanted to get in the fountain!  In fact, she did get in the fountain a  time or two!  She is defintely a water baby! It was a beautiful day to be outside!  It was fun to celebrate Uncle Mike today...with them living in Georgia now we get to see them much more often and we love it!  Happy Birthday Uncle Mike!

Sunday Shopping :)

This morning, Bear decided he wanted to go on a shopping adventure to Orlando.  So we got ready and headed to Orlando.  First stop...of course...Bass Pro!!!  Marlee had fun looking at all he big fish in there and looking around at all the neat things with her Daddy.  There was a guy there with an alligator and a snake.  The alligator was cute...the snake not so much!  I highly dislike snakes!!!  After leaving Bass Pro, we took Marlee to the Stride Rite store to get her foot measured and buy her, her first pair of big girl Stride Rite shoes.  She was so cute getting measured!  We shopped at a couple other stores and had a nice lunch before coming home.  We had a fun day all being together!

Matt, Summer, and Baby Boy Laye's Diaper Shower

Tonight, we showered Matt and Summer with diapers, wipes, and books for Baby Boy Laye (no name yet).  The shower was at Jordan and Chris' house and it was a lovely evening for some backyard fun and fellowship.  Marlee stayed with GiGi and Papa while we were at the shower for 2 hours and 56 minutes (haha)...you know me, I don't leave my baby girl for long at all.  She had a blast with GiGi and Papa.  I could tell this by all the pictures my mom sent me while we were gone. I asked mom to send me pictures of Marlee and she did...I loved them all! We can't wait to meet baby boy Laye...I know he is going to be a cutie just like his big sister Emerson!

January BUNCO...Pajama Party

Tonight, Courtney and Jamie hosted our January BUNCO and had a pajama party!  It was so nice to show up all cozy in our pajamas and savor lots of breakfast foods that we all brought!  I have a sinus infection and ear infection right now, so wearing pajamas worked wonderful for me tonight!  We all had a blast being together as usual and Tatum even joined us this time.  She is so precious...it seems like yesterday Marlee was that tiny.  Marlee spent time with Mammy and Pappy while I played BUNCO and had lots of fun going on a golf cart ride with them and playing with her cousin Brooker!

Today Rylie, Baxlee, and Easton all came over for a play date!  The kids all had so much fun playing together.  The lot across from our house was being cleared, so the kids loved watching the bulldozer push down gigantic old oak trees!!!  Fun times were had by all!

Dinner with the Lawson Family

Tonight Brannan, Tim, and baby Auburn came over for dinner.  It was cold tonight, so we enjoyed a fire in the fireplace along with homemade chili, grilled cheese, and cherry dump cake with vanilla ice cream for dinner.  The guys watched football while us girls chatted.  Marlee was so sweet with baby Auburn and even shared her baby play mat with her.  When I would hold Auburn, Marlee would come sit in my lap too and if I touched Auburn, Marlee would quickly pull my hand away.  :)  She wanted to remind me that I was her Mommy and only wanted me touching her :)  We had a fun evening with our sweet friends and can't wait to do it again!

This afternoon, we all met at Bonny's house to let the "cousins" play together!  They all had a blast playing outside and us girls had fun having our "SIL" time and watching the kids play! :)
