Hanging in the car

Marlee thinks that Easton's booster seat is just so cool!  This afternoon, we were out playing in the yard when she wanted to get into the car.  I didn't know why she wanted to but soon discovered her desire.  She wanted to sit in his seat since he was gone home and we still had his seat in our car.  She sat in his seat, enjoyed a snack, and watched an animal DVD for about fifteen minutes...I embraced this opportunity and cleaned my car out (which desperately needed it) while she just chilled happily!
As you can see Gracie supervised her and baby doll Julia sat in Marlee's seat!

Marlee's first bowling trip

Marlee enjoyed her first bowling trip today with cousin Easton and sweet friend, Ben.  We bowled at the bowling alley at Eagle Ridge mall.  The smallest bowling balls they had were still pretty heavy but the kids all enjoyed being so strong and carrying their ball.  Marlee did not have to wear bowling shoes since they did not have them small enough for her, so she just bowled in her Sperry's!  We had the bumpers up and the kids used the rack to help them bowl their ball.  Marlee was very into the game for a while but towards the end was over it, so we just played one game.  She definitely takes after her Daddy and is a good bowler and actually won the game with a score of 92!!!  I was so proud of her!  After bowling, we took the kids to ride the carousel.  Marlee rode with Mrs. Ashley while Easton, Ben. and Jeremy all rode together in the spinning seat.  After riding the carousel, we had a nice lunch at Chillis all together.  We are so blessed to have such sweet and fun friends in our lives!
They were so proud of their big bowling balls!

Las Vegas Day 4

We woke up bright and early to get all packed up and grab a taxi to the airport.
We got to the airport two hours before our flight and thank goodness we did because we flew Southwest and the Southwest computers had been down all night and the line to check bags was completely wrapped around the building. It was awful!  Instead of waiting outside in the long line, we waited inside in the very long line for a long time to check our bags. The computers finally started working again after a bit and the line started moving quickly...thank goodness!  Because of this catastrophe, all Southwest flights were delayed, so we had plenty of time to kill while waiting at the gate.  Mammy and Pappy were on a different flight, but just a couple of gates down waiting on their flight, so Marlee was able to play with Mammy while waiting!
Our plane ride home, we anything but pleasurable.  It was a sold out flight and we got stuck in seats that did not recline and the arm rests did not raise up either.  Marlee sat on my lap, so she was unable to stretch out with having someone sitting beside me and Daddy.  She was so good though through the flight.  We were all uncomfortable but she embraced it and played, nursed, colored, etc...  We were very happy to land in Orlando to say the least!  She was excited to ride the tram and pick up our luggage.
As soon as we got in the car and got on the road, she passed out!

We had a fun and fabulous time in Las Vegas and made lots of memories with Mammy and Pappy and Uncle Tommy and Ginny.

Las Vegas Day 3

Marlee and I slept in a little this morning while Daddy went to breakfast with Uncle Tommy.  After getting a little extra rest, Marlee got dressed in her adorable outfit Aunt Bonny made her!
Marlee always wanted to take the stroller with us but instead of riding in it, she liked helping push her baby doll around in it!
We hit the strip and went down to The Venetian! Bear and I have done the gondola ride through The Venetian before but we wanted to take Marlee on it, so that we did! It was so neat because we had the same boat captain as we did last time we were here three years ago! I remembered him! Marlee enjoyed riding in the boat and tossing coins into the water. I, of course, kissed her and Bear under every bridge for "good luck"!
After touring The Venetian, we toured the Pallazo!
We walked to the Wynn and Encore but strollers are not allowed in the Wynn, so we did not get to tour it.  In my opinion, that is just dumb! The story on that is that Steve Wynn, the owner of the Wynn, tripped over a stroller one time and therefore does not like strollers and will not allow them in his resort.
Marlee tossed a coin into this cool waterfall outside at the Wynn
We also toured Treasure Island before heading back to The Venetian where the limo was picking us back up at.  Marlee enjoyed playing games on Dada's phone while waiting for the car.
When we got back to The Bellagio, we went to the buffet that they have for lunch and then let Marlee take a good long afternoon nap.  After nap time, we all went to the pool for some fun in the sun!
After splashing in the pool, we decided to walk down to Battistas Italian Restaurant for dinner.  When we came to Vegas three years ago, we found this local family restaurant off of the strip and really enjoyed it.  We decided to go back again on this trip.  Oddly enough, we sat at the same table that we sat at when we ate here three years ago.  The only thing missing at dinner, was Mammy and Pappy because they ate here with us on our first trip.  They were at the David Copperfield show tonight though.  Dinner was delicious and Marlee enjoyed eating spaghetti with Mommy.  :)
After dinner, we walked back to The Bellagio and enjoyed watching the fountains for a bit.  They really are awesome!  I love how they are coordinated with the music.  They are so fun to watch and listen to!
After a nightly walk down the strip, we chilled in our room for a bit before heading back downstairs.  I went to the Cirque de Solei O show with Mammy, Pappy, Uncle Tommy, and Ginny while Marlee and Daddy played around in the hotel.  I really enjoyed the show and they enjoyed their time together.  After the hour long show, I found them snuggled in the bed together....so sweet :)
Time for bed, we leave Las Vegas early in the morning to head home.  We have had a really fun trip and Marlee has just been the best girl ever!!!

Las Vegas Day 2

We all slept so good last night and woke up to a beautiful and sunny day in Las Vegas.  We went to Cafe Bellagio for breakfast with Uncle Tommy and Ginny.  After breakfast, we walked around the resort and got as close as Marlee could get to the slot machines for a few pictures!
And I wanted more pictures of her with the hydrangeas!
While we were eating breakfast, they came and cleaned our room and Marlee was so excited to find her baby sweetly tucked into bed when we arrived back!
We then went over to Mandalay Bay and toured their resort and went to their shark aquarium.  Marlee really enjoyed looking at all the fish, sharks, and sea creatures!
After leaving Mandalay Bay, we went to the Paris and toured it as well as Bally's.  Marlee loved riding the escalators and throwing coins into the fountains!
We passed by a store with this gorilla and Marlee was very intrigued by it!
We walked down the strip back to the Ballagio...it was hot, but fun to see all the sights!
After nap time, Daddy decided to play blackjack with Pappy so Mammy, Marlee, and I walked to the Miracle Mile Shops.  Marlee got so hot walking outside that when we got inside to the shops, she kept laying down on the tile to cool off!  Funny girl!
We were needing a snack, so we enjoyed a delicious bananas foster crepe at The Paris.  It was yummy!
We walked down the strip a little ways before heading back to the Bellagio for some pool fun!
Mammy, Uncle Tommy, and Ginny went to a show so Marlee, Pappy, Daddy, and I all went to dinner together at Circo.  We had a table right by the window so Marlee could see the fountains going off and we all really enjoyed dinner.  There was a couple sitting beside us that thought Marlee was just precious and invited her over to enjoy dessert with them.  They were celebrating their anniversary and had a candle on their dessert and they let her blow the candle out and gave her some yummy sugar coated doughnuts with chocolate and raspberry sauce to dip them in.  She loved them.  Pappy surprised us and bought us the souvenir photo that they took of us at dinner to hang up in the house.  He is such a sweet Pappy!
Pappy teaching Marlee about the knife.
After dinner, we joined back up with Mammy and decided to go on an adventure!  I had really wanted to take Marlee to Circus Circus to ride some rides and play games, so off we went to take her there.  The boys gambled while Mammy and I took Marlee to the midway to ride rides and play games.  It did not turn out to be like I thought it was going to be...lots of people and not much for Marlee's age.  She did ride a couple of small rides including a merry go round ride, which she got hurt on trying to get off...but she was tough and handled it like a big girl.  We played one game and Mammy won her a sting ray stuffed animal which she was happy about.  We stayed for one hour and that was plenty!

Marlee got to ride in the cab up front with Daddy and thought she was a big girl on the way back to the Bellagio.

We all had a fun day today and were wore slap out!!!
