We celebrated Papa's birthday on Sunday night with Grandma, Grandpa, and Big Granny. Grandma cooked him his favorite, lamb, rice, gravy, peas, greek salad, and GiGi made him his favorite cake...a sour cream pound cake! Dinner was delicious and Mar and Easton could hardly wait to help him blow out his candles!
Marlee didn't want to wait on the cake to be cut, she just took a bite out of it as soon as she got a chance!
Today, is Papa's actual birthday and we celebrated it by having a lobster bake! GiGi ordered fresh Maine lobster and we enjoyed them for dinner along with mussels, potatoes, corn, bread, and a yummy Publix cake! Lobster was the theme for Papa's party and GiGi didn't miss a detail. We had lobster tablecloths, lobsters for decorations, we all wore lobster apparel, etc... Papa felt pretty special and we are so glad because he is so special to us!
