The day had finally come for Marlee to show Milky in the Pee Wee Show at the fair! We got Milky all bathed and brushed and he was ready to show! Sadly, the trip from the dairy to the fair on the trailer was hard on Milky and made him very nervous. When we got to the fair, he wasn't feeling good and was very sluggish. It was hot, there were lots of people, and it was a new place and he didn't love it. Marlee got upset because she could tell Milky was not feeling good and nervous. When it was show time, Milky did not want to walk and kept falling. This broke my heart for Milky and for Marlee because she had worked so hard to have him ready for the show and he was ready but it didn't look like it at the beginning. But, you never know how animals will do when they get into a new environment and this was all part of the learning process to for her. I love for Marlee to raise animals because I truly feel like there is so much to learn through these experiences. Raising my fair animals was one of my favorite childhood memories and I love watching Marlee involved with animals for the fair. Anyways, once the show got started and Milky was in the arena, he started feeling better and more comfortable and showed great! He was ready for his bottle after the show too!!! I had told Marlee that after the show, Milky was going back to the dairy and that she would need to tell him goodbye that night. Well...when that time came, she fell to pieces...crying and was just so sad. She wanted to see him one more time! Luckily, Mr. Kip had come to the fair that night also and she found him and asked him if she could see Milky one more time tomorrow and he agreed so she was so happy and couldn't wait to go visit him tomorrow! Great job tonight, Marlee and Milky! You made a great team!

After the show, it was time to ride some rides! The girls were so excited to ride all the rides tonight! And Marlee was most excited to win a goldfish!!! They are fun and we left the fair with two new goldfish!
