It was a chilly night tonight, so we decided it was the perfect night to light a fire in the fireplace, stay inside and make our gingerbread house and cookies and have homemade pizza for dinner! We worked hard as a family on making and decorating our Gingerbread House and the girls had tons of fun decorating their Gingerbread Cookies! I am not sure how much icing was eaten by the girls during the process of decorating the Gingerbread house and cookies but it was a lot!!! After finishing our gingerbread houses, we began making our homemade pizza! Marlee and Karsyn love helping roll the dough out and getting flour everywhere! Their favorite part though is when Daddy throws the dough up in the air!! Half way through the pizza making, Karsyn said she was so tired and wanted to go to bed so Daddy and Marlee finished up the pizza and cooked it! It was delicious and the Gingerbread house and cookies were the perfect dessert too! P.S. we saved some pizza and yummy gingerbread for Karsyn to eat in the morning since she fell asleep tonight :)

Beautiful gingerbread house with lights on the roof! The house was an A-Frame house but the girls kept saying it was a tent and said they made a Gingerbread Tent this year! LOL!
