Twenty-One Months Old

Happy twenty-one month birthday to our sweet baby girl!  Time is flying by and I can't believe I am already thinking about her second birthday party!  Marlee is growing so much these days and I am just amazed each day with all the new things she is doing! 

At twenty-one months of age, Marlee is:

*saying lots and lots of words...she really tries to repeat any words she hears and really does well at saying them!

*loves playing with the iPad...she is very good at working it and playing her games on it!

*loves to copy and do what Mama and Dada do :)

*is coming along with her potty training...she gets a Hershey Kiss (her favorite candy right now) after she goes in the potty.  She does still wear diapers at naps, night time, and when we go places...when she has a diaper on and she goes potty in it, she immediately takes it off herself!

*loves birds and is definitely a bird watcher!

*loves whipped cream (the kind in the can that you can squirt in your mouth)

*is nursing beautifully and loves her Ninny!

*loves, loves, loves her baby dolls and takes her babies with us anywhere we go!  This makes me soooo happy because I was the same way and I love playing baby dolls with her!

*is a great helper around the house!

*weighs 23 pounds and wears a size 18 month clothes and size 5 shoe and size 4 diapers

*is a wonderful swimmer and loves to be in the water

*wants to pick out her clothes, shoes, and bows and is very determined to wear what she has picked out

*does not like it if Mama is on her phone or reading something...she quickly comes and tries to take it out of my hand...she definitely likes all of Mama's attention

*loves exploring new places and is such a great traveler

*is a beach babe

*loves animals

*enjoys playing with her friends

*melts our heart with her sweet kisses, smiles, and laughter

*loves babies and is very drawn to them whenever she sees one

*is very good about playing with her toys especially her kitchen!

*her schedule right now is:

wake up between 8-9am, nap around 2pm,and go to bed between 10-11 pm

*when excited she throws her hands up and shows her "spirit fingers"...it's so cute!

*loves her Sissy, Gracie and loves to help take care of her

*loves to be outdoors playing, swinging, or hanging out in the grove getting dirty
*loves to watch videos of herself doing different things on my phone
*loves to dance with her Dada
*can recognize the letter M and B very quickly
*knows all of her body parts
*loves to be read and sung to
*loves to hold hands :)
*is very tough...she bounces right back after getting hurt
*loves to snuggle :)
*loves to color pictures with markers
*likes to wear shoes, especially grown-up shoes
*is pretty fearless most times...keeps Mama on her toes that's for sure!
*loves to rub Mama's back :)

*is a true gift from GOD and we are so blessed to have her!

Twenty-one months old and her and her baby doll are ready to cheer on the Florida Gators this upcoming football season!!!
