This afternoon we celebrated Brooker's 5th Birthday at the pool! Marlee loves water but hasn't really been around a pool since last summer when she was just a baby so I wondered what she would think about it. B Man's party was at the Country Club pool which has a kiddie pool and a big pool...all the kids mainly played in the shallow/small kiddie pool but Marlee didn't find it quite as fun as she did the BIG pool. Luckily, I had bought her swim floaties to wear on her arms and she wore them. She had no fear of the water and wanted to be in it constantly. I think she is going to be a little fish like her Daddy and I were when we were little. After much splashing, it was time for cake and all the fun things that go along with a special birthday party! Mandy made some yummy cupcakes and cake and Marlee enjoyed lots of icing and ice cream. Brooker's Mommy and Daddy did a fabulous job with the party and missed no details...water guns, bubbles, noodles, floats, cheese balls, fruit, candy, etc...all the things a kid loves and boy did they all love it! Happy 5th Birthday Brooker...we love you to the moon and back!
