Trick or Treat Nene and Pepa

We took our bumblebee by to see Nene and Pepa this morning!  Marlee surprised Pepa in his car when she popped out wearing her costume!  She loved the chocolate candy that Nene gave her and enjoyed playing with Nene's bird statues as well.  Nene and Pepa are so special to us and we love them dearly!

Bartow Halloween Parade

This afternoon GiGi and I took Marlee and Easton to the Bartow Halloween Parade.  This was our first time ever going to this parade but I have always heard great things about it.  The weather was pretty much rainy all day but when it started at 4:00 p.m., the weather was great.  There were tons of floats in the parade and most all of them handed out candy and many kids were dressed in their costumes.  Mar and Easton were having a blast looking at the floats and getting candy when all of a sudden it started pouring!  We got soaked running to the car.  It rained for about 5 minutes and the poor parade people just kept on going...after it stopped we got back out of the car and watched the rest of the parade...yes, there were that many floats in it!  The parade lasted for 45 minutes!  I am so glad that we took them to the parade and we look forward to going again next year!

Fall Projects

Marlee and I were excited this morning to make some Fall projects out of the leaves we brought home from Kentucky.  She had fun gluing the leaves on the paper, decorating with fall stickers, and coloring with markers.  She is so proud of her projects and so am I!  They are perfect decorations for our house :)

Day 6- Nashville, TN

We all slept good at camp last night and while Bear was cleaning up, Marlee and I decided to explore.  I love FALL in Kentucky!
After camp was all cleaned we hit the road back to Nashville.  We were excited to be staying our last night at the Gaylord Opryland.  We arrived there at 10 am and didn't think we would be able to check in that early, but they were so nice and let us.  We got a wonderful atrium view room and stayed in the cascades section.  The hotel is huge and so beautiful.  We had lunch at the sports bar and then all took a relaxing nap together!
We got dressed and walked around exploring our hotel for hours...literally!  There was so much to do, so many shops to browse, etc... We all had a blast! Bear even surprised me at one point with a cup of Starbucks coffee to enjoy while we were walking around:) I love my hubby, baby girl, and this hotel! The only thing we missed was the boat ride you can take through the hotel...we didn't get to that section of the hotel until it was already closed...next time ;)
I always buy Marlee an ornament from each place she visits to decorate her very own Christmas tree each year in hopes that when she is older she will be able to cherish all the places she has visited.  While I was in one of the stores buying her Nashville ornament, Bear and her were watching the fountain-light show.  I walked up behind them and the sight just melted my heart.  She was so cute with her arm wrapped around her Daddy...loving their time together!
We enjoyed a late dinner at Santa Fe Cattle Company where Marlee loved cracking the peanuts and throwing the shells on the floor(I am not sure why I didn't get a picture of this).  We fly back home in the morning but have had a great Anniversary getaway and fun family time together and with Bo, Leslie, Rylie, and Baxlee!

Day 5, Kentucky

We packed up this morning and all piled in to the rental car...5 girls...yes, it was a tight squeeze but we made it and drove an hour over to Bear and Bo's hunting camp in LaFayette, KY.  This would be me and Marlee's first time there and we were excited.  The girls all were able to run wild and the guys were so proud of their improvements that they have been making to the camp house.  We only stayed for a bit and then went over to some friends of Bear and Bo's, The Pryor's, and had lunch with their family.  It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed a yummy lunch and sat outside watching all the kids play.
Cynthia was celebrating her birthday today and all the kids enjoyed helping put the candles on her yummy ice cream cake and blowing them out over and over!  :)
I love this picture of Marlee resting her head on Baxlee's shoulder :)
After lots of playtime and giggles, we went back to camp and the boys went hunting for the late afternoon and we hit the road to Target!  Of course, we had fun at Target shopping and picked up dinner on our way back to camp. Marlee loved Baxlee's pumpkin that she got at Target and wanted to hold it in the car.  As we were driving down the road, we noticed this...she as a tired girl!
We got back before the guys did and the girls played and colored while we waited on them.
The guys arrived back to the camp, sadly with no deer, but the girls were all excited to see their Dad's!  Marlee enjoyed listening to a camp story around the fire with Uncle Bo too!
This picture is one of my favorite pictures of Marlee and her Dada!  So happy together :)
Bo, Leslie and the girls had to leave to head back home and we were all sad to be leaving each other.  I had so much fun with my sweet SIL, Leslie, Bear loves spending time with Bo, and Marlee loved having her cousins to play with each day.  Rylie and Baxlee are going to make great big sisters to their new baby sister on the way because they were so sweet, understanding, caring, loving, and playful to Marlee.  We all had to give big group hugs before they left.
Mama, your flash is so bright!
Waving bye bye to her sweet cousins, Aunt, and Uncle.
Marlee loved being at camp...she loved getting dirty, watching the fire, collecting acorns, and playing on the steps!  I can see many camp days in her future...it melts her Dada's heart too!
We have had a fun day and are so glad we have finally gotten to see Bear's hunting camp.  We are packing up and heading back to Nashville in the morning!

Day 4, Kentucky

We woke up this morning and the first words out of Marlee's mouth were, Rylie, Baxlee!  She was so excited to wake up and play with them.  Leslie and I decided to take the girls to Wurth Farms to the fall festival they were having.  We all got dressed and hit the road to Paducah.  The girls all rode so well on the drive over and enjoyed watching Dora!  When we got to Wurth's, I saw lots of picture opportunities...YAY!!!  I love how everyone up in Kentucky decorates for Fall with their beautiful pumpkins, mums, hay, etc...
The girls were all excited to play on the bounce houses, feed the animals at the petting farm, and ride the ponies.  Marlee bounced on the smaller bounce house while Rylie and Baxlee bounced on the big slide!
We left the play area and the girls got a balloon character...Rylie's popped and she was crying and Marlee went over and hugged her...:)

We walked over to the pumpkin patch and the girls had fun looking at all the different colors, shapes, and sizes of pumpkins!  I wanted to bring so many of them home with us!
Next, we went through the hay maze...Rylie and Baxlee went through it so quickly that I didn't get a picture of them in it...it sure was fun but a little muddy at times!
Mama, can we please take some of these pretty flowers and pumpkins home with us???
After a couple of hours at the fall festival, we were ready to go to lunch and do a little bit of shopping.  We shopped longer than we had planned on and pretty much made an afternoon out of it. :)  After arriving home, I took the girls out for a walk to look for leaves, acorns, etc... to collect.  We had so much fun just being outside and being together while Leslie and baby girl relaxed a little :)
Marlee saw me taking so many pictures of the FALL trees and leaves that she took my phone and started taking pictures too!
Mar was tired from running around with Ry Ry and Baxlee and decided to just sit and play a few games on my phone for a bit.
After we collected many leaves and acorns, we decided it was getting dark and time for dinner.  We grabbed some yummy sandwiches and delicious cupcakes to eat from a local bakery and the girls spent the evening playing together in the play room.  These three girls are peas in a pod when it comes to toys...they all love to play with dolls, dress-up stuff, etc...

Tonight is our last night staying with Leslie and the girls as tomorrow we are all driving over to Bear and Bo's hunting camp and Marlee and I are staying the night there.  We have had the most wonderful time at Bo and Leslie's house and look forward to coming back again soon when Marlee has three sweet girl cousins to play with!!! :)
