The girls had their first swimming lesson with Ms. Pat today! Marlee was beyond excited to go see Ms. Pat and Karsyn was too because all she had heard was Marlee so excited about going! Marlee just did this one lesson...a little refresher to kick off the summer season and she did great! She learned some new swimming strokes and loved getting to jump off the diving board! She is an awesome swimmer and we are so proud of her! Karsyn waited so patiently for her turn and was still so excited to get in the pool when it was her turn. That excitement quickly came to a halt when Ms. Pat took charge and had her go under water! Lots of tears were shed and she really wanted Mommy! :( She would stop crying when Pat would let her float on her back but as soon as she had to kick and swim under water, she did not like that. I am afraid there will be more tears at next weeks lessons too but hopefully those tears will pay off and we will have a great swimmer soon!
