October School Girls :)

Happy October...a.k.a. pumpkin season!!!

After I picked the girls up from school, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch!  The girls were so well behaved for me and enjoyed their yummy lunch!

Karsyn was so happy to help Mommy take the girls to school today!

She wanted to carry her backpack just like the big girls do!
Fire Station Field Trip Friday :)

Marlee shared with her class about her horse show and ribbons.

Halloween Party at Preschool

Karsyn and I were so excited to attend Marlee's school Halloween party with her this morning!  Mrs. Kristin had the kids wear their costumes which was so much fun!  Karsyn even dressed up like a bumblebee for the party which was Marlee's costume when she was her age!  I love looking back at pictures and seeing their similarities at the same age!  The party was a blast...pinata fun, trick or treating, crafts, and yummy treats!  Karsyn loved being able to do the same thing the big kids did and we were so thankful Mrs. Kristin invited us to join them this morning!
Marlee was so excited to wear her Sheriff Callie costume to school, lasso and all!

We got Boo'ed!!!

This afternoon there was a knock on the door and by the time we answered it no one was there but a fun little basket of goodies was waiting for us telling us we had been Boo'ed!  What a fun surprise and we are looking forward to picking two neighbors to Boo now!!!

Marlee's First Horse Show!!!

Marlee competed in her first horse show today at the Saint Lucie Fairgrounds! She was so excited and had worked hard preparing for this big day!  When we arrived, she helped me turn her paperwork in and we watched a few shows before it was time to get dressed for her show!  She was excited to have a few of her friends showing as well today so she enjoyed talking with them and all the girls got dressed together!  Mrs. Karen (Marlee's trainer) was right by Marlee's side the whole time and a big help with everything!  Some of the shows started later than expected which made it chaotic for a few minutes because Souly the horse was needed at two different shows at the same time but it all worked out, Marlee just didn't get to practice before her show like she normally would have.  No problem though, she got right up on Souly when it was her turn and went right out in the arena like such a big girl!  She competed in three events: Walk off the Lead Pleasure, Walk off the Lead Equitation, and Walk off the Lead with ground pole (ages 10 & under).  The girls in her group were 7, 8,9, and 10 years old so I was super proud of her for not being intimated by being the littlest one out there. All the girls are in the arena at the same time and doing commands that the judge/announcer tells them.  Karsyn was so excited to cheer big sissy Marlee on when she was out in the arena as well as Mammy, Pappy, Mommy and Daddy.  Mrs. Karen was out in the arena with Marlee but only there to assist if need be.   Marlee placed 3rd in the event Walk off the Lead Pleasure, 4th place in Walk off the Lead Equitation, and 6th place in Walk off the lead with ground pole.  Marlee was so excited when she received her three ribbons and said, "Let's go win some more ribbons"!  I love her innocence and how she doesn't even worry about the place she got, she just looks at the colors of the ribbons and is so happy with them!  We are extremely proud of Marlee and love seeing her do what she truly loves and appreciate Mammy and Pappy's support today for Marlee at the show!

We love Mrs. Karen and appreciate everything she does to train Marlee!
