Preschool Trick or Treat

Marlee had so much fun this morning trick or treating with her class at the preschool.  She went to school dressed in her costume (a monarch butterfly) and got lots of candy while trick or treating in the other preschool classrooms.  I was able to walk around with the class while they trick or treated and it was precious!  :)

First Baptist Preschool Pumpkin Patch

This evening we took Marlee to the pumpkin patch at her school.  She was so excited to attend in her new outfit GiGi bought her that had pumpkins on it.  We enjoyed seeing all the pumpkins, playing games and on the playground, and spending time as a family with Mammy and Mary Kate!

Marlee Got Mail!!!

Marlee got mail today!!!  She was so excited when the mail lady pulled in to our driveway and said, "I have mail for Marlee"!  It was a big package but she carried it all the way in the house by herself and couldn't wait to open it!  When she opened it, she found a box full of yummy Halloween cookies that GiGi had sent her!  The cookies were all kinds...ones with icing, sprinkles, etc...  She quickly started eating one and her and Daddy have been enjoying them together! :)  Thanks GiGi for the special surprise, you are so amazing!!! :)

Babson Park Halloween Carnival

After the Avon Park Fall Festival, we came back to GiGi and Papa's to rest a little before heading to the Babson Park Elementary Halloween Carnival.  Easton had invited Marlee to go with him to his school carnival.  Easton's costume this year is Batman so Marlee had to be BatGirl to match!  They were so cute together even though I didn't get too many pictures of them together in their costumes.  After a while, Marlee's costume got itchy because it was still so hot so she changed into her Halloween dress to be more comfortable playing the games.  At this carnival instead of candy, you win money to use at the store they have.  Easton and Marlee both earned lots of money and picked out lots of prizes at the store.  A yummy snow cone and cotton candy cooled them both off before leaving...good thing they had naps before the carnival!  :)

Avon Park Fall Festival

After a late night last night, we spent the night at GiGi and Papa's since Daddy was gone hunting and woke up bright and early to attend the Avon Park Fall Festival.  It was early, HOT, and Marlee was not in to wearing her costume for the parade so we changed out of it quickly after arriving.  She did have fun riding the ponies/horses twice, playing games, winning a book at the book walk, and riding the train with Landree!  A fun festival for sure!
