A night out with SIS

Mommy had "Girls Night Out" tonight and Marlee had one as well.  She got to spend the evening with SIS and had a great time!  They played, visited Aunt Shari, and went on a date to Manny's before coming home. We are so thankful that SIS was able to watch our sweet girl while Mommy went out with some friends.  Marlee and I were both happy to see each other when I got home at midnight...she was up waiting on me :)
She was holding my face, saying "Mama say Cheese"!
 Mama strikin' a pose!
Happy girls :) to see each other!

Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus

This morning GiGi and I took Marlee to her first Circus and out in public for her first time without a bow!  I forgot her bow at home...oh NO!!!  :(  I was upset but Marlee handled it well ;)  We went to the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Greatest Show on Earth Circus in Tampa at the Tampa Times Forum.  I talked with Marlee all about the circus and she was so excited to see all the circus animals.  She kept saying she was going to see a train too!  We didn't see a train, but we had wonderful tickets, very close to the stage and got to see lots of animals!  She was glued to the show and really enjoyed it.  A clown even came up in the audience and gave her a high five...she was so excited!  The elephants were the hit of the show and it's amazing at all the tricks they can do.  We also saw tigers  ponies, horses, poodles, bunnies, and a yucky ole snake!  She loved the cheerleaders and the girl shooting out of the cannon was really neat too.  I am so glad that we were able to take Marlee to the circus this year and we look forward to going back next January when they are in town again.

Happy New Year 2013

2012 was a great year for our family!
Bear bought partnership into a new business, Lake Reedy Harvesting, and loves it!  He is working long, long hours managing the company everyday and every weekend but that is just part of it during fruit season.  We treasure our time with him when he is home though. :)
Marlee turned two years old and has grown so much this past year!  She is talking up a storm and cracks us up with the cute, funny, charming, and smart things she says.  She is so lovable and is the best snuggler ever!  She is such a happy, Dora-loving, energetic, imaginative, and clever girl. She is a big girl now and does not nurse anymore as of 12/29/2012.  It was a bittersweet time for us both because she loved nursing so much and really used it as her main food source.  She never had a bottle, I was always the one to feed her and wouldn't have had it any other way.  It was such a wonderful bonding time for me and her.  I nursed her for twenty-five months and loved every minute of it!  But as hard as it was because I felt like it the last "baby" thing she did and I don't want my baby to grow up, she is growing up and she is a big girl and needed to eat table food like big girls do. It was a hard couple of days for both of us but we are doing good now and she is eating table food!  We can't wait to see all of the milestones our sweet girl accomplishes in 2013!
I am loving every minute of being a stay at home mom.  I truly love my life!  I feel so blessed to be able to stay home with Marlee Grace each day and treasure this time with her.  I started selling Jewel Kade jewelry as a side job to make some extra money and I am enjoying it as well.  We have our house up for sale and have purchased land in Sebring to hopefully soon build a house on.  I will miss my family tons when we move from Frostproof but will be happy to be in Sebring with my Brooker family, good friends, and lots of activities for Marlee to participate in.  And I know we will visit Frostproof a lot to see our family.  God has blessed us in so many ways in 2012 and we are looking forward to all the exciting times a head of us in 2013!
Bear, Marlee, and I wrote our 2013 wishes on a "wish balloon" and set it free for fate to take its course.
She loved her "homemade" Happy New Year 2013 crown I made for her :)
New Years Kisses for our sweet girl!  She stayed awake until midnight and watched the ball drop and kissed Mama and Daddy when it became 2013!!!

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

This evening we celebrated Grandma Peggy's birthday!  Her and Grandpa were both sick with a cold, so we just had cake and presents to celebrate!  She loved the shirt that Marlee picked out for her at Belks and had fun trying on Grandma's new Nike's that GiGi and Papa gave her.  When it was cake time, Marlee could not wait to eat the buttercream icing...literally she could not wait, she was sticking her hands in it as I was trying to light the candles!  She has a love for Publix cakes just like her Mama! Happy Birthday, Grandma!  We love you!

Brooker Family Christmas

After pictures this afternoon, we went to Mammy and Pappy's house to have Christmas with them since they celebrated in Kentucky this year with Bo, Leslie, and the girls!  Mammy cooked a delicious dinner for us and Brooker, Marlee, and Mary Kate all had fun playing together and opening presents. We missed Bo, Leslie, and the girls this year so much but are thankful that Mammy and Pappy got to be with them on Christmas day and meet baby Harper!  Marlee got a cute horse toy from Mammy and Pappy that she likes to play with, as well as a book and some money, a pizza set and Dora dress-up clothes.  Bear loved the money he received this year as well as his new shirts that Bonny and Jared gave him with his company logo on them.  I received a new Garmin watch for running, a label maker, running socks, and Biltmore Inspirations goodies for my house.  We all had a great Christmas and love our time together with the ones we love so much!  P.S., Mammy and Pappy, I think Marlee just really wants the Calvin dog and if you ever find it missing you know who might have taken him! :)
Brooker liked the Florida Gator football player piggy bank Marlee got him a long with some money to put in it as well!
Mammy liked her Jewel Kade Blessed Mammy necklace we got her!

Mosier Family Pictures

This afternoon, Aunt Mollie had arranged for Laura Carter to come and take The Mosier Family pictures for us.  We all had to wear either red, white  or green.  We had planned to take them out in the yard but it started raining just as we were going to take the pictures so we moved them under the carport, in front of Mr. Stephens old jeep.  They turned out really good, especially with such a large group, and I really like the old jeep in the background.  These are just some previews we have gotten...I can't wait to see them all!

Christmas Night

Christmas night, we joined my family out at the pasture for a fire and fried shrimp!  Big Granny wanted to treat us all, so she brought shrimp and Papa and Bear fried them up along with some fried green tomatoes and french fries.  Marshmallows were roasted too and it was a nice laid back evening to end a wonderful Christmas day!

Our stockings

After a fun filled Christmas morning, we all came home and rested.  After Marlee's nap, I realized that we forgot to look in our stockings and see what treasures were inside!  Marlee loved pulling out all of the neat things she had received...Dora Band-Aids  Dora and Diego toothbrushes, bath markers, chocolate scented bubbles, etc...
