Publix

Marlee and I had to do a little shopping at Publix today after Tot Time, so for the first time she got to ride in the Car Shopping cart.  I felt like she was too little for them before, but she is growing so fast that I knew my big girl could sit in the cool car now.  She loved it and was such a good girl today while Mommy bought groceries.  She ate her cookie that we got her at the bakery for Kids Club and waved to all the other people in the store as we passed them.  We love Publix and all the cool things that go along with shopping there!

Children's Museum/Tot Time

It's Tuesday Tot Time!  We had a fun time today at Tot Time and playing at the museum.  Mrs. Amy was out of town, so Aunt Bonny taught class today and did a super job!  Marlee enjoyed listening to the story about The Very Lonely Firefly and dancing to the songs.  We didn't make the craft today because the foam numbers were just too much fun to leave and make the craft.  Marlee loves playing at the museum before and after Tot Time and we are thankful to have a such place to play at!
Trying to decide what to do first at the museum
Marlee looked like such a big girl in this outfit to me.
 She loves to grocery shop!

Marlee loves the scarves that the kids get to use when dancing to Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star!

Tricycle Riding with Mrs. Ashley

This evening Marlee spotted Mrs. Ashley, Jeremy, and Ben outside playing and wanted to go play too!  We were out playing in the yard/edge of the road when Marlee took Mrs. Ashley's hand and wanted her to go with her to get Ben's tricycle.  She loves his tricycle!  Mrs. Ashley was so sweet and took Marlee to get it and helped her ride along the road.  Marlee loves Mrs. Ashley!!!

Sunday Fun day

This afternoon, Bear and I took our sweet country girl out to the pasture to have a Sunday Fun day!  Marlee loves cows and my parents cows are as gentle as can be, so she had so much fun petting them!!  After spending time with the cows, we headed to the back of the pasture to pick blackberries.  Marlee enjoyed picking the red ones because they were much prettier.  She enjoyed eating the black ones that Mommy picked though!  We then went riding through the pasture on the buggy just enjoying the outdoors when Marlee spotted Papa's old tractors that he has out there.  She wanted on those tractors and she pretended to drive them for the longest time.  After lots of running around, it was time for us to head home and made a homemade blackberry cobbler!  Marlee helped make it and really enjoyed eating it as well with some vanilla ice cream :)  I love how our sweet girl loves the country life so much!

Rainy afternoon

On this rainy afternoon, Marlee was having a hard time understanding why we couldn't go outside and play so we had to come up with some fun indoor activities for our outside loving girl.  It was pitiful, she would just stand at the window and door and beg to go outside.  We did occupy our sweet girl with some bubble blowing fun, water color painting and shaving cream and bathtub paint!  She had a blast with these new fun activities!
 Catching bubbles!
Marlee enjoyed watercolor painting on the paper and on herself :)
Bath paint!
Daddy even gave her shaving cream to play with :)

Happily Swinging

I love this picture that I captured of Marlee swinging this morning.  She had just had a fudge popsicle and was a happy girl with a chocolate filled belly swinging away!!!

Gator Gallop 5K

Ashley and I ran our first trail run this morning at Sun n' Lake Preserve in Sebring. It was such a fun run! I was nervous because trail running is much different than running on pavement. You have to be so careful about your foot placement. Our pace was slower than usual, but it's because we were literally running over tree roots, dodging water puddles, and crossing bridges. We even saw an alligator as we ran past a pond! Mammy, ran the race, too. All three of us won our age groups! We were thrilled!  Bear and Marlee hung out with Jeremy and Ben while we ran the race and had a fun time throwing rocks in the creek and splashing in mud puddles!  :)
Why did we have to wake up so early this morning Mommy???
Before the race...ready to run!
Throwing rocks in the creek :)
Splashing in mud puddles while waiting for Mommy:)
YAY!!!  We all won 1st place in the race for our age group!!!
Marlee thought Mommy's medal was so cool! :)

Play date with The Ogburn's

This morning, Marlee and I went down to have a play date with Kristy, Kadi, and Brock.  Kadi and Marlee were so excited to play together and sweet baby Brock watched the girls play.  Kristy and I enjoyed catching up and talking "Mommy" talk.  :)  We are looking forward to our next play date already!

Two Peas in a Pod

Mary Kate came and spent the day with Marlee and I today while her Mommy and Daddy to Brooker to Animal Kingdom for his birthday.  Marlee was still asleep when MK got here so when she woke up she was so excited to see her sweet cousin.  We played outside most of the day and the girls had a blast together.  It is so sweet to watch them interact with each other.  I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked to, but with 2 one year olds running around...I didn't have time for a camera but I did capture a few pictures on my phone.  I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with Marlee each day and we love having Mary Kate over to play!
The girls telling each other "Good Morning"!!!
Swinging together...I can't believe our babies are able to swing like big kids now!
Water fun...micro jets are really a blast to play with to one year olds!

Flash cards...in the trash!!!

For Easter, Marlee got a set of flashcards that dealt with numbers, letters, and colors.  I have been going through them with her everyday.  Well, today as she was playing, I noticed her collecting her flashcards and taking them in to the bathroom.  I went to see what she was doing with them in there and look what I found...

her flashcards in the trashcan!!!  Is she trying to tell me something???  LOL :)  I dug them out but she went right back behind me and threw them away again!

Painting with Papa

As Marlee and Easton visited Papa today at the lumber yard, he got some paint and let them paint on boxes...how creative of Papa I must say!  They both love painting so they had a blast...the lumber yard has endless amounts of fun in Marlee and Easton's eyes that's for sure!
