A day of working at the pasture and having fun with Pete

We had a work day at the pasture today getting ready for some upcoming events...Karsyn and I helped work while Marlee rode her horse :)

 Karsyn was excited to get a little break and ride for a little bit too!

A very cold night...so we built a fire and made s'mores!

It was freezing tonight, so we built a fire in the fireplace and made s'mores!  They were delicious!!

A fun day in Lakeland!

Today we spent the day in Lakeland with friends!  We went to the Common Ground play park for a while and the kids played while Lori and I froze...haha...we warmed up finally with some Starbucks though!  After we left the playground, we went to Target and a couple of other stores, and then had dinner at Olive Garden.  We had fun!!

Karysn kept taking my Starbucks...silly girl!  She loves coffee!

 Being silly at dinner! :)  It was 9:45 pm when we were eating so everyone was a little silly!

An afternoon with Pete

This afternoon after school, we went up and spent some time with Pete!  The weather was finally nice and we had fun!  Marlee rode Pete all around with her new lunge line and loved every minute of it!

After riding Pete, Marlee and I got up on the roof of Papa's barn and took in the sights!  We had fun!

Play date with Friends

Marlee and Karsyn both had friends over for a play date today!  Karsyn had Emerson over and Marlee had Maura over!  The kids played and had so much fun!  Maura spent the night and stayed the next day too and fun was had!  Marlee and Karsyn are blessed to have such sweet friends in their lives!

They thought about it but it was TOO cold Mommy said! :)

Dinner at Grayson and Emory's house and a movie in bed!

They slept in until 9am and then quickly woke up and started playing outside!

Short hair...don't care!

Karsyn has been begging  to get her hair cut into a short, big girl haircut!  We never had time in December to get it cut but Mrs. Lisa called us and had an appt. this morning so we jumped in the car!  Karsyn was SO excited!  Mrs. Lisa was so good with Karsyn and even let Marlee cut a little bit of Karsyn's hair!  She got a short, bob and looks SO ADORABLE!  She loves it and so do I!  
Marlee loved Karsyn's hair so much too that she decided she wanted to get hers cut too!  Karsyn got to cut a little of Marlee's and Marlee got hers cut to her shoulders!  She looks SO PRETTY!
